How Engagements Are Structured
Most engagements are ongoing partnerships covering coordination, tracking, and day-to-day guidance. Some towns retain a few hours per month for oversight; others commit more during active capital and grant work.
A recurring partnership keeps institutional memory through board turnover and staff transitions, so multi-year projects don't restart with every change. Specialized project work, large grant packages, engineering, and construction-phase services are scoped separately.

Certified Energy Manager working on the municipal side of Massachusetts clean energy, efficiency, and infrastructure projects.
Daniel Abrahamson, CEM, provides technical review and advisory support for municipal energy, efficiency, and infrastructure projects.
He is Municipal Energy Manager for the Hampshire Regional Partnership, supporting Southampton, Westhampton, Williamsburg, and the Hampshire Regional School District on energy planning, efficiency upgrades, grant-funded improvements, and decarbonization.
Earlier roles include energy management at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and energy project management at the MBTA.
On a review, the work is to turn technical documentation into clear findings and specific questions boards can act on within statutory deadlines.
